I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN FASCINATED BY HOW OUR BODIES CAN CHANGE. THE FEMALE SIDE OF MY FAMILY IS NOT BLESSED WITH GOOD GENETICS NOR WITH GOOD EATING HABITS, AND FOR YEARS I HAVE BEEN ADDICTED TO FOOD MYSELF. I WAS BINGING A LOT FOR PLEASURE. MY RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD WAS UNHEALTHY, and THIS LEADED ME TO NUTRITION AND BODYBUILDING. AND THAT IS HOW I KNOW, FROM EXPERIENCE THE IMPORTANCE OF A HEALTHY, BALANCED DIET.

 

I STARTED OUT AS MOST OTHERS DO. I USED TO BE A SKINNY GIRL WHEN I WAS SMALL. ALL MY BONES AND VEINS WERE STICKING OUT OF MY SKIN, EVEN ON MY FOREHEAD. IN MY TEENAGE YEARS I DEVELOPED VERY UNHEALTHY EATING HABITs. I GAINED A GOOD AMOUNT OF WEIGHT AND MY BODY IMAGE BECAME TERRIBLY DISORDERED. FROM BEING SELF CONFIDENT WITH A STRONG PERSONALITY I FORMED INTO AN INSECURE GIRL. I TRAPPED MYSELF IN A CIRCLE WHERE BINGE EATING, GUILT AND EXTREME YO-YO DIETING KEPT CONTROLLING MY EVERYDAY LIFE. I DESPERATELY WANTED TO MAKE A CHANGE, BUT I was NEVER strong enough to take THE NEXT STEP. After giving a go to dozens of UNSUCCESSFUl fad diets, I knew i needed a different approach. HAD TO LEARN TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY ACTIONS- ALSO FOR WHAT I FUEL MY PRECIOUS BODY WITH. AFTER PLANNING IT FOR YEARS, I FINALLY I MADE IT TO A GYM AND I ENDED UP FINDING MYSELF A COACH, AND THIS EXECUTIVE DECISION CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER.

 

I WORKED ONE YEAR WITH MY FIRST COACH. HE helped me through the roughest period of the first part of my transformation. all in all it took me a very long time to completely replace years of wrong thinking and habits about food and nutrition. I HAVE LEARNT SO MUCH ABOUT MY BODY, about nutrition and training science, AND IT WAS JUST THE BEGINNING OF AN INCREDIBLE JOURNEY.  WASTING NO TIME, I ENROLLED MYSELF IN THE FITNESS ACADEMY AND LATER IN THE WEIDER ACADEMY, AND I OBTAINED MY PERSONAL TRAINER, LIFE COACH AND NUTRITIONIST CERTIFICATES.

 

I KNEW THat helping people go through the change i have WAS THE THING I WANTED TO DO. BUT THEN LIFE INTERVENED. I MOVED FROM COUNTRY TO COUNTRY, AND LIKE EVERY YOUNG PERSON WHO DOES THIS, I FOUND MYSELF WORKING IN HOSPITALITY FOR YEARS. I LOVED IT IN THE BEGINNING. IT WAS NEW, IT WAS EXCITING AND NEVERTHELESS IT WAS REWARDING BUT IN THE SAME TIME PRIORITIES SHIFTED. GOING TO THE GYM AND EATING MINDFULLY, TAKING CARE OF MY BODY WAS NO LONGER MY MAIN FOCUS. IN 2017 I MOVED TO TENERIFE, THE COUNTRY I SINCE LIVE IN. MY FIRST YEAR WENT BY SO FAST, I OPENED MY EYES AND IT WAS 2018. IN MY HEAD I KNEW, ALWAYS KNEW WHAT I WANTED TO DO, BUT I FELT STUCK and afraid. SO AS A FIRST STEP I BOUGHT A GYM MEMBERSHIP, I BEGAN MEAL PREPPING AND DISCOVERING MY POSSIBILITIES. I NEEDED TO TAKE THE FIRST STEP. since, I QUIT MY FULL TIME JOB, DEVELOPED MY OWN COACHING perspective and TECHNIQUES, AND I AM WORKING MYSELF TOWARDS MY GOALS TO BECOME A FULL TIME COACH, TO WORK WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE IN THE SAME EMOTIONAL TRAP  WHERE I HAVE BEEN FOR YEARS.

FOR SO LONG I DIDN’T BELIEVE THAT I HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO achieve my long term goals. BUT TODAY? TODAY I KNOW THAT EVERYBODY HAS WHAT IT TAKES NO MATTER WHAT. AND THIS RECOGNITION IS POWERFUL. In 2020 I enrolled in three new courses to update my knowledge, I completed a vegan/vegetarian nutritionist, biochemics and eating psychology COURSES WHICH WAS EXTREMELY BENEFICIAL IN ADDITION TO MY PRIOR KNOWLEDGE. Next year I will step on stage in a bodybuilding competition for the first time ever. And in the meantime, I spend my days productively, helping other people to value themselves the same way I FINALLY VALUE MYSELF INSIDE AND OUTSIDE.

MY COMPLEX COACHING TECHNIQUES COMBINE EVIDENCE BASED NUTRITION WITH FOOD ACTIVISM AND EDUCATION.  AS A NUTRITIONIST, MY PRIORITY IS MY CLIENTS NUTRITIONAL BALANCE THROUGH A HEALTHY, WHOLESOME DIET. AS A  FOOD ACTIVIST MY GOAL IS TO DO ALL THIS with AN IDEOLOGY in mind, THAT’S NOT ONLY GOOD FOR PEOPLE, BUT ALSO GOOD FOR THE PLANET. MY PROGRAM is EDUCATIONAL based, that not just gives you information, but provides YOU with ALL THE KNOWLEDGE, explained in depth if needed, THAT YOU NEED, TO BE ABLE TO CONTINUE WHAT WE HAVE STARTED ON YOUR OWN, FOR A LIFETIME.

The eat the food movement started off as an idea to show people that you do not have to avoid or be afraid of food, or certain foods. Your body needs all of it. Your brain, muscles and cells need protein to function, and they also need carbohydrates and fat as a powerhouse. having a good physical appearance is one thing, but having good physical and mental health is priceless, and the aim of this movement is to educate people that creating the desired body image can coexist with excellent physical and metal health, but only if you have a healthy relationship with food. No more unhealthy restrictions. no more starving. no more binging. Share the word- #eatthefood
